  • Directions: Remove peanut and peanut butter packets; Add peanut butter to other ingredients in pouch; Add 2-1/4 cups (540 mL) of boiling water; Stir thoroughly making sure noodles are fully submerged

Being regular on the trail is one thing – but keep the TP on hand and your backpack on quick release!!! You may want to try this tasty and easy to prepare backpacking meal BEFORE hitting the trail. While my wife found this meal tasty and easy on her stomach while on the trail, it caused both myself and my daughter pretty extreme gastroenterolgical distress- while an MRE will stop you up for days — this was the opposite. Being regular on the trail is one thing, but this was not cool. And to answer the next question, the meal was prepared with the remaining municipal water we had on hand before…

Delicious and VERY filling! This meal is HUGE and tastes delicious! I was nervous as it is Vegan and Gluten free, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Just be careful to shake up the seasoning and noodles prior to pouring water in. Most of my seasoning was at the bottom and with the boiling water in there it was too hot for me to really get down to the bottom and unstick some of the seasoning until I was about halfway done with the meal. Then the REAL flavor came out when it was fully mixed. Probably…

Good, different, vegetarian and SUPER EASY It is good – not great, but good for something different, and I love that it is vegetarian. The taste is comparable to the average frozen meals you can buy in the grocery store. It is not quite as good as Mountain House (at least not this flavor) but it is vegetarian and has a higher protein content. It says that it is spicy, but it is not really that spicy.
