The other ones I’ve tried previously had a nice “pop” when you chewed them I’ve had several brands of soy caviar over the years and, honestly, this is the first one I’ve tried that I wouldn’t buy again. The flavor is bordering on bland, the consistency is a little flat, and it has a bit of a chemical aftertaste. The other ones I’ve tried previously had a nice “pop” when you chewed them, very similar in feel to real caviar, and the flavor was slightly briny, also similar to the real stuff. This one is underwhelming in both areas. I probably won’t buy this…

Like Spanish or that jarred stuff in supermarkets fir $7 Caviart will remind you just enough of real caviar. Like Spanish or that jarred stuff in supermarkets fir $7.99. It is good for cracker toppings, pastas and eggs. I like it,but I definitely can taste the seaweed flavor.

Subtle fresh salty sea flavor and texture exactly like caviar. Really delicious! The taste is a subtle fresh salty sea flavor, and the texture is perfect. I was afraid it would be mushy, but instead the tiny “eggs” pop; just like what remember caviar’s texture/bite feel to be like. I cannot wait to try a few more recipes with it.
