Not for your average college kid, nor exactly “quick”. The recipes I’ve gone through look delicious, but I’m not sure this is geared towards college kids. My 2-stars absolutely reflect the suitability for the audience in the title, not the quality of the recipes.Please know if the college kid you’re buying it for will have access to an oven, a stove & all the cooking essentials an oven & stove require (skillets, pans, “large stockpot” etc) & a FULL spice rack (the chili recipe calls for 16 ingredients, a soup calls…

Not for the average college students on a budget! This book is grossly misrepresented/mistitled. It is not a good cookbook for college students who are probably on a small budget. The ingredients listed in many recipes are not easily available or affordable for the average college student. One recipe listed “raclette”. I’ve been cooking all of my life and would have had zero idea it was a type of cheese; however, this particular recipe also listed “or Gouda”. Very few recipes have substitutions listed. I would like to return it…
