the Best Vegetarian I have been a healthy vegetarian for about forty years. I am neither a student and fortunately I am not broke, but I love this book. Every recipe is so tasty. A Great Little Cookbook for One or Two w/ Budget Friendly Recipes I’m addicted to cookbooks, but with a relatively small budget I’m not usually able to try many new recipes. But this book grabbed me with it’s subtitle: “Great Grub for the Hungry and Broke”. It’s a beautiful cookbook, each page spread contains at least one picture of one of the recipes on that page. The ingredients list is listed side by side with the instructions in a very easy to scan fashion. Each page contains only one or two recipes, so it’s not overwhelming. The pictures are beautiful…

easy recipes, too many risotto recipes I’m not vegetarian and find most vegetarian cookbooks filled with too many bean recipes. This was heavy on risotto recipes but I like risotto so that was ok. Almost every recipe is accompanied with an lovely photo of the finished dish. All are easy to make and don’t require exotic ingredients. I found it a very practical cookbook. I made the red kidney been curry and found it tasty (even better the next day) which is saying alot since I’m really don’t care much for beans.
