Our dog wanted to be Vegan!? Of course we were concerned when our dog told us he wanted to be Vegan. Where would he get his protein? Would he get enough calcium? Would other dogs think he was strange if he was not eating body parts of other animals?Well, we were so pleased to see that he is thriving on this diet. And you know what? Other dogs accept him just fine. And he seems so pleased that he is reducing his carbon footprint and living a life that is consistent with his highest values.

V-Dog saved my dog! One of my dogs has SEVERE food allergies. He can’t eat regular dog food without throwing up on a daily basis. The vets couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him and put him on a special diet (hydrolyzed chicken protein). He would still throw up, but not as often–maybe twice a week. Every day, I would have to sit with him and beg him to eat, and he’d barely touch his food. He was so skinny and listless. You could see his spine and ribs through his thick, fluffy coat. He would not touch any…

Our dogs prefer V-Dog vegetarian to Origen meat kibble Our dogs get mixed food: Origen puppy food (dark brown) and V-Dog vegetarian kibble (light brown). See my photo. The dark brown meat kibble is always dropped left on the floor by them (they never let the V-Dog ones hit the floor) and they also pick the vegetarian kibble out of the meat kibble, as you can see in this photo of their feeder. They still eat both kibbles, but prefer vegetarian.
