Good addition to salads and oatmeal. Things that need a crunch of protein. I got a variety pack of these as a sample. I really liked to add these to salads and oatmeal. I tried them on their own as a snack and I found them to be really bland. I suppose in a pinch if I needed some protein I might eat them, but they definitely would not be a go to snack for me on their own. Having said that though, I am a vegetarian and often don’t get to choose when at work functions when they serve lunch. Adds a nice little crunch to any salad or side dish! These bean blends were a convenient way to add more crunch into my salads! I love adding almond slivers to my salad because I enjoy the crunch and extra bit of saltiness so I was eager to try these. The small, individual packets make it easy to carry with me on the go, if desired. I packed one in my lunch with my grilled chicken salad and it was quite tasty! Not for me. I received the sample pack of these, and although I’m not a vegetarian I was interested in trying them. I have to be honest, I did not like them. But after reading some other reviews with different ways to try them I will give them another chance, but eating them by themselves was not very good in my opinion. The reason it is still getting four out of five stars is because they are healthy, and they are really good option for vegetarians. And also, just because I don’t personally like them…
